Spring flowers like no other: Chaenomeles

We get so happy with spring! Especially now that early flowering shrubs announce spring with their floral splendor. One of the first spring flowering shrubs is Chaenomeles, also known as flowering quince Already in early spring, this shrub brings an explosion of colour to your garden. Meet the abundantly flowering Chaenomeles

Admittedly, the name takes some practice. But don't let this stop you, because Chaenomeles really has everything you want from a shrub. With a height of up to 150 centimeters, a quince is perfect for both larger and smaller gardens. It is a shrub that flowers profusely early in the year. Nice to know: the branches are covered with flowers and look great in a vase. A Chaenomeles requires little maintenance, is not fussy about its location and thrives in any type of soil. Once it is settled it is also very tolerant to heat and drought.
